Camp Dragonfly Forest in West Chester, PA hosts 22q kids at summer camp

Through a very generous donation from the International 22q Foundation, a week long, overnight summer camp became a reality for 45 kids diagnosed with the 22q11.2 deletion at no charge to their families! The camp was held at the breathtaking Westtown School, in West Chester, PA June 28th – July 2, 2010. In addition to the camp for the kids, The Dempster Family Foundation was able to partner with Elwyn Genetics to coordinate a “Family Activity Week” for the families of the campers.  This included a welcome reception, a trip to Hershey Park, Elwyn Genetics Sibshops Program and the launch of the Dempster Family Foundation “Parent Empowerment Program.
